Oppo Unveils Affordable A18 Smartphone In India: Price and Features
Ahead of the launch of the new Find N3 Flip foldable smartphone in India this month, Chinese tech giant Oppo has launched a new A-series budget smartphone in the country – the Oppo A18. The newly launched Oppo A18 features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display, Android 13, dual rear cameras and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Oppo A18 Price, colors and availability
Priced at Rs 9,999 in India, the new Oppo A18 is available in Glowing Blue and Glowing Black colors. The device is also available for purchase on Oppo’s website and offline at authorized retail stores in the country.
The company is also offering Rs 1,000 cashback offer to customers using SBI Card, One Card, IDFC First Bank Credit Card, Bank of Baroda Credit Card and AU Bank Credit Card.
Oppo A18 Specifications
Oppo’s new A-series smartphone features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 720×1612 pixel resolution, and 720 nit peak brightness. Oppo A18 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset and equipped with Mali G52 MC2 GPU. The device also has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and has dual SIM support. The Oppo A18 offers Bluetooth 5.3 and also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face recognition feature. As for the battery, the device is powered by a large 5000 mAh battery.
In terms of cameras, Oppo’s new budget smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For video calls and selfies, the device has a 5 megapixel front camera.
Oppo is set to launch the successor to the Find N2 Flip foldable smartphone, the Find N3 Flip, in India soon. Oppo’s upcoming foldable phone is expected to have the same specifications as the Chinese version.
